DuPont Veterinary Center is new to the area, but Dr. Baker has been practicing at other clinics around the Puget Sound treating animals for quite some time before finding the DuPont location. We are a new full service hospital with modern equipment that offers the best care for all your pet's needs. We look forward to serving the DuPont area and becoming your other family doctor. We also serve Olympia, Lakewood, Anderson Island, Steilacoom and JBLM.

Jerry is our Hospital Manager at DuPont Veterinary Center. He is an entrepreneur, uber driver, big dreamer, and sleep enthusiast. He reads books frequently, and plays video games when he’s feeling lazy. He started in the veterinary industry in 2012 as a business associate at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has worked in the Puget Sound area at a few veterinary clinics since 2016. He prides himself as being “the only morning person in the clinic.” Jerry has a background in business and psychology as well.

Nacole is one of the licensed veterinary technicians at DVC. She first gained experience as an assistant in 2017 while enrolled at Pierce College for the Vet Tech program. She graduated in 2018 and moved to our clinic in July, as a licensed technician. She’s devoted to treating every animal with quality care and providing owners with education so they can continue to understand and connect with their beloved pets. Outside of work Nacole enjoys hiking, drawing, and photography. Her pets include one adorable two year old Pit Bull, Orion, who was adopted from her school program.
Kelsie is DuPont Veterinary Center’s lead technician. She graduated with her associates degree at the same time as she graduated high school, then went to WSU to pursue her bachelor’s degree, graduating in 2014. After discovering her true passion for helping animals, she decided to go back to school to soon become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She prides herself on being an advocate for your pet, and giving them a voice since they can’t speak for themselves. She is always the first to say “yes” to taking on new challenges. Researching and learning about new discoveries/techniques in the veterinary field is important to her. Kelsie has been working in the veterinary industry since early 2016, starting as a receptionist then quickly moving to a veterinary assistant role so she could be more hands-on with animal care. She has worked closely with Dr. Baker for the last two years, following him to DVC when we opened in 2017. When she isn’t working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her pets and her family, hiking, cooking, and thrift shopping.
Kelsie’s pets include Lua, Kaio, and Phoenix. Lua is a spunky, intelligent, 3-year-old Blue Heeler mix who is full of attitude. Kaio is a calm and simple Red Heeler rescue with a lot of love to give. Phoenix is a sweet, playful cat that she rescued in 2016 after he was hit by a car and his owners abandoned him.
Angela is one of the Doctors Assistants here at DVC. She is very passionate about animal and contributing when ever she can to people who are less fortunate or in need. Angela is new to the veterinary field and is excited to be learning everything she can about her new career path. Some of her hobbies include hiking, wake boarding, cooking and she is always the first person to try something new. She believes that it is important to step outside of what you are comfortable with because life is about experiences. Angela attended Tennessee State University on a softball scholarship, where she studied communications. She then Transfered to Western Kentucky University where she furthered her study in radio broadcasting. She often volunteered her time with WKU’s national public radio station and PBS. She then got married to her high school sweetheart who joined the military and is currently stationed here at JBLM. Angela has a 5 year old pit bull german shepherd mix named Myka. Myka is an intelligent charismatic girl who will do anything for food! She is always the center of attention in her household and steals the hearts of everyone she meets.
